da marjack bet: Tottenham Hotspur are in negotiations with Inter Milan to sell Tanguy Ndombele this summer.
da prosport bet: That’s according to Sky Italy, as relayed by @HotspurRelated, who claim that Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is pushing for the transfer.
Recent reports revealed Spurs have opened discussions with Inter to sort out a deal as Ndombele, who is the club’s record signing, wants to leave north London following a falling out with Mourinho.
It’s no secret the pair share a frosty relationship which has come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks, although Daniel Levy has insisted the six-cap French international is not for sale, and the Lilywhites are reportedly not interested in letting him leave.
The Spurs chairman feels the Frenchman simply needs time to adjust to life in the Premier League, where he is away from his family, as this is not the first time the club have had to cope with a new signing who has struggled to settle down in north London. His teammate Son Heung-min suffered a similar issue following his first season at White Hart Lane.
However, Le10 Sport has now shed new light on the subject, which suggests Levy may let him go, but only on one condition.
Sources told the French publication that the Lilywhites will let the 23-year-old leave if a club meets his colossal asking price.
It is understood that Levy is demanding £63m for the former Lyon ace, although the report adds that Inter have not made an offer as it stands, while Paris Saint-Germain cannot afford to spend such a huge sum of money at the moment.
Ndombele has had a tricky start to his Premier League career, having scored twice and supplied two assists last term. The French midfielder hardly featured at all following the restart, making a mere two appearances from the bench, before being dropped from the squad after picking up an injury.
Nevertheless, Levy may live to regret letting him go for a quick cash grab if the right bid arrives in the summer.
Although he is a shadow of his former self at the moment, it was not so long ago that he was once considered one of Europe’s hottest prospects during his time at Lyon.
Spurs must be patient as it is up to Mourinho to get the best out of him, because he has shown flashes of what he can offer in the Champions League.
The Lilywhites may rue the day if they let him go as he could go on to become a success at the Parc des Princes or San Siro instead.
