United reportedly believe that the Ivory Coast international is a wiser player than he was during his spell at Old Trafford, and feel that the forward can be a success this time – they are also prepared to pay the lofty fee wanted by the Eagles, who demanded £80m last summer.
Zaha handed in a transfer request in the last window, and was left ‘devastated’ when Palace denied him a move away.
The former Cardiff man is yet to score this season after 12 Premier League games.
