da realsbet: Don’t you wish you were Harry Kane?
da bet vitoria: Young, playing football for a living, an England international, playing in the Premier League for a top four team and the world ahead of him. Probably a millionaire by now too. Makes you sick, doesn’t it?
All of this and he’s still only 22-years-old. It makes you wonder where Kane’s journey will lead him, but let’s look at the facts surrounding this boy wonder.
Unlike his Spurs and England predecessor, Gary Lineker, Kane is not a six yard goal scorer, or as we used to say in the local parks when I was a kid – a goal hanger. The majority of his goals are scored down the right channel and in the penalty box. With 17 goals in all competition this season already, including internationals, he has managed to regain some form after a particularly slow start to the campaign.

Born in North East London, Kane actually joined the Arsenal youth academy at the age of eight, but he was released after one season. How I bet they wish they hadn’t now. Watford took him for a couple of seasons before he joined Spurs, and since then the meteoric rise has been swift.
In 2009/10, Kane was playing for the under-18’s, but appeared on the first team bench twice that season before making his senior debut against Heart Of Midlothian in a Europa League match in August 2011.
Spurs knew what they had in this player and to enable his progression and boost his experience, Kane went out on loan to several clubs in a two year spell. Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester all benefited from young Kane’s abilities. He scored for all but one club (Norwich) and whilst at Millwall, Kane won the Millwall Young Player Of The Season for 2011-12.
That summer Kane returned to Spurs and made his Premier League debut against Newcastle in the 2012-13 season, coming on as a substitute in that defeat. At the end of August, Kane went out on loan to Norwich on a season long loan, but suffered a metatarsal injury on his second appearance. Once fully fit, he played just once more before Tottenham recalled him.
Kane didn’t make his full debut for Spurs until the 2013-14 season against Leicester City, when he scored one the five goals for Spurs that day. Kane hasn’t really looked back since leading to reave reviews and links to some of the biggest clubs in the world.
After scoring 21 Premier League goals last season, and the impact he had on the Spurs team, it was inevitable thatbigger clubs would start to come sniffing around White Hart Lane. Manchester United were one club who were supposedly looking to the acquire his services and now teams from abroad are also reportedly keeping a close eye on him.. The question is – how many millions would it take to prise Harry away from Spurs?

I was at Wembley on the night Kane made his England debut against Lithuania. He replaced Wayne Rooney to a huge cheer from the crowd that had been calling his name during the second half. Within two or three minutes of coming on, Kane had scored his first England goal, and after eight caps for the Three Lions, he’s bagged three goals . You can bet that Harry Kane is already on the list for the European Championships in the summer.
From an early setback at Arsenal, to the various loan moves from Spurs, and then his rise to one of the most feared goal scorers in the Premier League, Kane has become one of the most high profile players of his generation. His England career will intensify and if anyone can beat Wayne Rooney to the all-time scoring record, it will be Kane.
It’s hard to fault his game. He hold’s up the play and brings others into the action and his close control for a lanky player is equally superb. It also proves that clubs can produce excellent home grown players.
The world really is Harry Kane’s oyster and yes, I wouldn’t mind being Harry Kane!
